Three years ago, Currys had 18 suppliers, one of which was Herd, all suppliers provided flexi hire vehicles into their sites nationally. In 2017 Herd were asked to participate in a tender process as they wanted to consolidate their suppliers from 18 to 2. Herd were successful on the tender beating some large companies in the vehicle leasing industry to become one of only two vehicle leasing suppliers for the brand.

Chosen product in assessing the Currys business needs and from our experience with working with Currys we believed the Renault chassis model was the best fit for this particular requirement. One of the key mature brands in the UK market, the aftercare and national support Herd has in place with the manufacturer enables exceptional support to our Fleet Management program. The Renault truck extensive Network which offers 24/7 coverage for the Herd Fleet, also assists in building an aftercare program that fits your needs. The Renault product also has a strong RV which will support the deflect program and ultimately increase the profit share split.

  • VOR is extremely low running at 2% of our overall fleet average for the last 12 months. This is testament to team performance, fleet age and direct Herd SLA agreements with all key manufacturers.
